[p]With the year closing it seemed appropriate to give everyone a pat on the back. Anyone would tell you that 2009 was a tough year, however regardless of the financial and economical problems that seemed to be occurring across the globe, we still had a memorable 12 months. Riff Wars transformed the B1GLeague studio into an adrenalin fueled stage where the best in Australia battled it out on Guitar Hero. The DotA Masters featured intense battles that incredibly came down to the wire. The Street Fighter IV Invitational proved how full-on 1v1 games are, with undefeated champions desperately fighting to continue their records. With community support we were able to help ensure that the Counter Strike: Source Nationals did occur, with some incredible games between teams from across the country. Finally the Counter Strike: 1.6 National Cup were great to watch, especially if you were in the audience.
Overall B1GLeague has definitely taken not just steps forward, but leaps and bounds. 2010 is already shaping up to be an even b1gger year with plans already in the works.
We'd like to thank Michael Woods for all the time, effort, and finances he's put into B1GLeague, without him B1GLeague wouldn't be here.
And to everyone else, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Regards,
The B1GLeague Team.[/p]
