With a fantastic year in 2009 B1G League is publicly opening a rare opportunity to join the most experienced eSport tournament organisation in Australia.

With the core B1G League team hard at work on the countries first dedicated eSport broadcast studio here in Melbourne, Australia. The door is now open for national & statewide managers to officially join the team for an exciting year ahead in 2010.

B1G League prides its self on running the most professional & high profile eSport events in the region and successful applicants will have a hands on position coordinating local & national eSport tournaments as well as managing state representative teams & media.

Positions available:

State Manager - Queensland

Coordinating local LAN qualifiers & events, Managing local representative teams, Managing local media representation & networking.

State Manager - Western Australia

Coordinating local LAN qualifiers & events, Managing local representative teams, Managing local media representation & networking.

State Manager - New South Wales

Coordinating local LAN qualifiers & events, Managing local representative teams, Managing local media representation & networking.

State Manager - Tasmania

Coordinating local LAN qualifiers & events, Managing local representative teams, Managing local media representation & networking.

State Manager - Victoria

Coordinating local LAN qualifiers & events, Managing local representative teams, Managing local media representation & networking.

Key Selection Criteria

Applicants should provide information around key selection criteria below;

- Applicants should have strong knowledge across major eSport games & tournaments;

- Applicants should have good written & verbal communication skills;

- Applicants should have good project management skills;

- Applicants should have a good understanding of local eSport communities;

- Applicants should have a good technical understanding of computer networking and multiplayer game setup.

Tassie has like teams....don't we? I could contact some people from the local LAN places and see what I can do. I don't think I'll apply though. I'll be Busy trying to get the first ever Console LAN happening.

With the New Zealand position, we need alot more LANS over here. The rare one that may pop up is usually in Auckland, which is a major disadvantage to the big gamers in other citys. If I was of the age I would be trying to get the word out about this problem, this may sound nerdy as hell but it really does suck, but a lone 16 year old cant do alot.

A word of advice a lone 16 year old can do everything. People on forums don't know your age. Spread the word on the forums and get into contact with people that have the means to make this happen. Its a wonder what a few carefully thought out posts can do.
