We've allocated for up to 120 seats on this one and we're still working out the last of our RTS competitions so keep on the lookout for those!

Switches
• 7x Extreme Networks Summit 400-48t 48 port Layer 3 Gigabit Switches

These switches have a 160 Gigabit per Second Switch Fabric, supporting 101 million
packets per second, giving gamers and leechers the bandwidth they crave!

Over the last few months the GGF admins have spent endless hours in upgrading the network. This has included in replacing 80% of the switches with same model ones. Also the inclusion of 10 Gigabit Ethernet. As LANS these days are growing larger and larger we think its time to give the network infrastructure an upgrade. This will vastly speed up game load times, file availability for patch's and and faster setup and pack up times.

GGF is holding it's 1st COD 4 Promod comp for 2011. Last comp was a blast and expected to be even better this time. One of our sponsors PerformanceGaming have offered to run the comp. This is a huge bonus as these guys really know what their talking about when it comes to Call of Duty 4. Expect this to be a top notch run competition. Entry for this comp is $15 + the LAN entry fee. This goes towards the final prize pool. Also there is a dedicated spot for the COD4 comp area. There will be signs allocating this on the day. GGF will be holding a non gaming comp. This is to give those gaming enthusiast a chance that aren't so good at gaming but still love to pimp their rig. Participants have 30min to tweak and overclock their rig then 10min to run the default test. All settings will be set to default. Person with the highest score at the end will be the winner. There will also be another prize for a certain score on the day.
