Sydney Gamers League (SGL) is excited to announce our first event for 2011

When: 30th April 12:00PM until 1st May 4:00PM
Where: Macquarie University - The Atrium, Macquarie Park
Theme: Super Hero's, so come dressed on Saturday for a chance to win the best dressed!
Price: $40 pre-pay $45 pay on the day
Comps: Way too many to list them all as we will be running almost 50 comps in the 28 hour period, including:

CSS / CoD4 / SC2 / TF2 / Fifa 11 / DotA / CSS GunGame / Minecraft / HDD Toss / Mouse Throw / BF2 64 Player Session / Team Fortress 2 PUSH ZE KART Session / Best Dressed / Nerf Duels / Random Wii Games / Lucky Door Prize / Super Hero Themed Cosplay

And as always a epic prize pool with in excess of $20 000+ up for grabs across our competitions

Network: Full gigabit network, providing some of the best network speeds available for LANners
Internet: We have 100mbit/s and an epic 1TB of quota available!!! Most online games will be available, and we intend to allow all HTTP (facebook, youtube, etc) as well as services like MSN IRC etc.

ASUS Demonstration Area � As always we will be showcasing the latest technology from ASUS, also thanks to ASUS we will be having a Sit and Play section for the event, which will encourage people to play games they don't own on a computer setup just for it! we will have all kinds of games loaded on them.

Retro Gaming Area - Heaps of old school gaming gear. Smash Some Bro's on N64, or even go back all the way to Pong on the Atari 2600!

Lounge Area & Arcade Machines - Relaxation area with love sacks etc and we intend to have several arcade machines, including a 2 player Daytona Machine, Big Buck Hunter, Air Hockey table and more lounge entertainment
