About

With some new admins and new gear we are ready to get things back on track. GGF is still located at the amazing fully air con Strathpine Community Hall.

With the inclusion of a few sponsors we will have prizes for competitions and draws. Hence the name GGF (Good Gaming Fun) we are all about gaming and not just about playing the latest and greatest games. We also encourage gamers to play some of the older games for a few laughs. We are looking at roughly 150 gamers for the next Lan and looking to grow to over 170 in the near future.

Also internet will now be provided at the event. It is only a small amount of data and will only be used for steam usage. Please try to make sure your steam up to date before arriving.

- 1x Monitor (each additional monitor = another entry fee)

- Driver Disks / Copy of Windows (you never know!)
- Mobile Phone Charger (yup, just incase)

A first ever in the Australian LAN Scene GGF Lan is proud to announce that we will be offering 15 Pre-Built Gaming Rigs to hire during this 24 Hour Event!

We know how hard it is to bring your PC from the other side of the country to compete in LAN Gaming and with transit costs and other problems that may arrise on the day due to travel we've built 15 computers fully specced to the latest games on the market today! These computers will be available as a first in best dressed offer to all interstate players for a limited time then will be open to normal players for hire. Hey guys,

sorry I've been off the radar - Mavie has been unwell and bed ridden for the past week and a bit. But he's dragged himself out of bed because C-Rad keeps calling me because he misses our dinner dates so I've decided while I'm getting myself ready for him I should post an update here

Now, I've been pretty bust (uni) then I managed to get sick so I apologize for not finishing off the Interstate Gaming Rig section on the GGF Lan website. I know a lot of you have been asking about it and here's the scoop:

Just PM me, call me or email me and I will take note of your name (you're real name hehe) and just bring your $100 along on the day, this will include your entry fee, pizza and a drink - oh and the gaming rig. A lot of you have been asking about 120HZ monitors, we wish we could offer these for you but Mavie didn't win the Lotto so maybe buy me a lotto ticket and we'll talk

There are 6 interstate rigs left! (Dealy, Shann, Gat & Bray) have booked one. You don't need to be interstate to book them now, but interstate people will get preference. So if your rig dies or you think this one will perform better you can book one

For the teams attending, I am fixing the forgotten password feature here: http://cod4.ggflan.com/ today. So I want you all to login and make sure your teams are up-to-date. I need to confirm numbers and will get team names printed up for your seats. Also I'm going to hassle Stu for a layout so we all know where we're sitting
