If they continue balancing CoH, you will be disappointed to find out CoH will still be better.

CoH was the best RTS (imo) before the expansion came out. Sadly British and Panzer Elite completely ruined the balance, then Relic decided to fundamentally change the game by including "elite" infantry which took balance a couple of leaps backwards.

I completely agree, they were poorly designed and inadequately tested before rushing the OF expansion out.
Going off the current leaderboards in DoW2 they do have some problems however its not nearly as bad or broken as CoH. The Allies team containing both the American and British is virtually unbeatable in team games. 2v2 stats contain an unbelievable favourtism towards the British with more "pro" level players than any other faction. When they balance DoW2 it may well become the RTS game of choice, if everyone has the same chance of winning a 1v1 or 3v3 match using skill and tactics instead of factional abilities it will become a competition heavyweight.
But its not yet!

You didn't need to agree with my Shep, it's a prevalent fact.

The only people who could possibly disagree are all those high ranked British players who claim (based on win ratios) that British are underpowered.

When the fact is, all those British "pros" are just shit players who can't get over lvl 10 with the VCoH factions (lvl 10 is the new lvl 6 these days)

And what does "better" mean?

It's funny, on release Tyranids were OP and Eldar were UP (on general consensus). Look now and everybody is complaining Eldar are OP. (There's been no adjustment). I'm not saying there isn't balance issues, but I think that shows they are not as significant as the raging forum goers would have you believe.

Competition is necessary to identify the serious issues and help get them fixed.

Better, meaning more skillful and balanced

Definately need a DOW 2 ladder.

DOW2 is the product of building upon solid game play, destructable environment and cover to accurately depict a battlefield in a RTS that we have come to expect from Relic. That coupled with an amazing storyline and lore upon which to draw means that this game, and future expansions (hopefully) will definately be a favourite among RTS fans.
