Hey guys
Ive recently upgraded to windows 7 and reinstalled cod4. Ever since, whenever i record i cant find where the recorded files go to. I also cant find where my config is and stuff like that. Ive checked in all cod files but only has stuff regarding the basic stuff when first installed.

Any help would be muchly appreciated
TY

Check the mods folder, your demos will be in corresponding mod folder.

Screenshots are on the same boat as demos

Config is located CoD4 -> players -> profiles -> (profile name) -> config_mp

Firstly go control panel > User Accounts and Family safety > User Accounts > Change user account control settings and pull the slider to the bottom, press ok then ok to the prompt, restart your pc, and now demos will be saved to your mods folder, im not sure whether you have to make another account for cod 4 as it might not move that so in case your old demos and profile should be located in C:\Users\"Your Name"\app data ( You will have to enable hidden files via top left "organize > folder and search options > View > Show hidden Files and folders) \and i think its going to be in either Roaming or Local, you have to look, your most likely looking for a folder called activision which is where the rest of your demos are.

Good glasses is good.

Sounds like Windows 7's file management isnt that much better than Vista's horrendously long demo search.

XP ftw.

xp is disgusting, file management is good in windows 7, all you need to do is just after you in stall turn of the account control thing and your all sweet, the problem is if you leave it too late after installing all your games and making saved games
