Hey again guys,

After a deeper investigation we have found that a keylogger program has been released to some users on CyberGamer. This file may of been sent from Talnoy (when his account was hacked). I deeply suggest if you have been sent ANY files from a CG user or someone posing as a CG admin to download 'Malware Bytes'. This program is a free program and will detect this current keylogger.

www.malwarebytes.org/

These MEMBERS should run the program and CHANGE THEIR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY .

  • DENIED
  • [SYF] Karma
  • xY34HHx
  • TeKKno
  • ikaaaRvez
  • Ix ViipeRz xI
  • TheOne
  • pazanski
  • TobiWanKenobi
  • Pro` fantasy
  • SyNiC
  • pazanski
  • Ix ViipeRz xI
  • BESTY

With this finding 'DENIED's bans have been lifted. A apologise for the information pointing towards denied.

The keylogging program phones home with every keyboard strike. No matter whether you type your password into a secure website or not, the program will still log every keypress. Change anything you logged into after you ran the keylogger (bank accounts, facebook, cg, gg, any other password related site).

If you believe you have been a victim, get onto another computer and change your password. If you don't have another computer to get onto, change your password by clicking in new password box, start typing new password (with a few mouse clicks here and there) then click the taskbar and then hit a few more keys on the keyboard (try to remember what you click) and continue until you finish your password. Do exactly the same for second password box. This will throw out passwords keypresses.

Thanks Guys and soz to Denied and Resistance.

Why would you open an exe sent over xfire in the first place?

You would accept a .exe over xfire from a person you don't actually know because?

Your account was last accessed on
16/03/10 - 66.90.104.57

So if you reformatted after that you should be fine

That is just the list where this hacker accessed accounts. Other people may be at risk!

The person tried to do the same thing to me, it was not a 'random' person as such, the conversation was initiated through Talnoys xfire account so you were assumably trusting Talnoy, obviously Talnoys account had been hacked (BY POWERSLAVE LOL) so many were under the impression it was Talnoy sending the exe.
