Ok guys had a few requests for a few tips on how to own geeks on forums, so since I'm such a e-fight veteran I thought I'd share a few of my tips that I always use which ensure ultimate ownage.

So listen up fellow forum posters and one day you too may find yourself owning geeks.



Rule 1. Get personal with your attack posts, but not too personal. Remember, we're here to make them rage and have a laugh, we don't want people punching holes in their walls and drowning their cats. Not only does this prevent people cutting themselves but it also helps you with your ownage, but I'll elaborate on that a bit later.

Rule 2. Always make sure you have back up. Once you have engaged battle with your opponent, jump on msn, xbox, facebook and even call up your mates. Tell them to sprint to the nearest computer, log on to CG and get posting. It doesn't matter what you're posting, if you have people agreeing with you and laughing with you, game over.

Rule 3. DON'T EVER MAKE SHIT UP. Now this is a common mistake I see happen way too often. You think "oh it's just the internet, I can say anything I want to make myself look cooler than this guy". 10 minutes later you get a friend request from Katie Elliot on facebook, admit you're scared to talk to girls and you might as well quit xbox. Exaggerate as much as you want, but always make sure there's some truth in your posts.

Rule 4. Photos with chicks win arguments. Yeah it's all well and good to laugh at people for being fat, having massive eyebrows, less than normal amounts of muscle and larger than life lips. But if you don't have photos of yourself WITH HOT CHICKS then don't even go there. You could be the ugliest kid the world has ever seen, but if you got a photo next to hot chicks, you are god.

Rule 5. Never go to battle without sufficient ammunition. Study your prey as much as you can. Facebook is ideal as it provides all sorts of hilarious material (as we all know). Basically before you start throwing out attacks make sure you're aware of their appearance, popularity and skill level. These three things are gold mines for insults.


Alright now for a few pointers once you find yourself in a bit of a jiffy.


Tip 1 - If things are getting a bit heated and you think your opponent is starting to get the upper hand, present your case to a moderator and convince them you are the victim (refer to rule 1). If you are successful, the moderator will promptly ban your opponent leaving you to post freely. Once they are banned, be sure to send them a PM with something along the lines of "GL posting" or "sorry bro, u didnt wanna post did ya?", this works an absolute treat. Trust me.

Tip 2 - Once again if things are looking bad, start to change the mood of your posts and try to suggest that your opponent is trolling. Say things like "lol look at this guy trying hard out to win a forum fight, grow up". Not only will they have nothing to say but it will also get the general public on your side.



GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD

Ok guys this is my ultimate move that I save for when I'm in all sorts of trouble.

Things are looking terrible, you've followed all rules and even used the tips. Moderators refuse to ban and they've posted a photo of themselves with even hotter chicks.

You think "this is all over, I have been defeated". Wrong. Everything can be turned in your favor with one fatal word.


"Baited"

No matter how owned you are getting, no matter how many people are against you, if you are the first person to claim you are baiting, you win. That's all there is to it. Now remember friends, this can not be used in all e-fights, it is only to be used in the right circumstance. Trust me, you'll know when.
