both look horrid. Get a Lian Li or if you want good, simplistic looks at a very good price point get the Fractal Design R2

HAF, armour is rubbish

u want space and cooling, buy the HAF, but whats going inside it more importantly??

i do completely agree with Samo, het the Fractal R2, those things are built very well and have excellent features for the $$

Armor is horrid, avoid thermaltake cases like the plague, shocking build quality.
HAF is better but you can still get better for that price point.

Antec 1200
Antec P193
Lian Li/Lancool Dragonlord
Lian Li Armorsuit
Coolermaster Storm Sniper Black ed.
Xigmatek UTgard
Fractal Design Define R2
Silverstone Raven RV02
Silverstone Fortress FT02

Check out all of those cases before narrowing it down to two.

i have spent about 3 weeks looking at cases. and going on what i can get now its between those 2. they are decent looking, imo and both have nuff space while being affordable. as the bulk of my money is going to the components, i7 930, dual 5850's, a crossfire gigabyte mobo. another 4gb of ddr3 2000 ram, 1200watt psu(i know its big but will sustain future upgrades, hopefully) and a 2tb HDD for storage, got 2 64gb ssd's for main drive

So you'll spend that much money on components but cheap out on the case when you could spend like an extra $70-$100 and get a really good quality one? *shrug* Anyways If you have your heart set on those two, go with the HAF. I wasn't being over the top, thermaltake build quality is quite terrible.

its not hte extra 70 - 100 bux thats the issue. i could wait a week or not go out and get the money for that. its just the hassle of finding a retailer near my place to get it. this pc is going to be used primarily for online use and of the cases i looked at i liked them the most. also they are easily attainable being sold at jw where i am buying all my other components. and there is no hassle of going to the post office to pick up large pc cases

Don't buy the xigmatek case.
