CyberGamer is always looking for volunteers in the community to help keep CG running and are motivated to make competitive gaming as big as it can be for us all. Twilife, Britt + Bio Acid overlook the whole of CyberGamer Xbox, but they have given some admin's control over a few roles as below.
Head Admins for each role:
Each is a specialist in their area, and have been doing their respective role for a while and can be identified by their title on the forums.
Each Admin is in charge of all staff for the role they are admin of, along with:
- Provide FAQ / How to / Guidelines / Announcements for staff and public.
- Investigate breaches of relevant Guidelines.
- Promote/demote staff members as they see fit.
- Improve systems and define or refine processes.
With this new organised system, we are now accepting applications for some roles. There are very limited spots available, and its not first in best dressed. Not all staff positions are available initially, you will now have to prove yourself in a previous role to be promoted into higher roles as below.
Referee> Shoutcaster or Review Team or Pug Admin or YouTUBE team> Forum Moderator> Game admin> Platform Moderator.

Staff application page after reviewing the relevant criteria. Do not make a topic, support ticket, post on the forums or PM an application to any of the above Admins. The only way this works is by using the staff application page.
Staff member's are expected to be mature, responsible and act accordingly along with promoting and representing CG in a positive manner to the best of your ability. Staff members are not above the Guidelines imposed on regular members and acting in a negative manner or contradictory to guidlines can see your staff role removed.

Referee
Role
If you want any staff role on CG, you must start as a referee. You are expected to have a strong and up to date knowledge of the ruleset for all ladders in which you are a referee. Your role is to help with disputes and assist new teams on the ladders that might not read the rules or understand them.
Referee Requirements
- On site for more than 4 months, having played at least one season.
- Mature, respected and contributing member of the CG community.
- Available to ref approx 1 game a week.
- Understanding of the ruleset and the ability to enforce it.
- Never recieved a match ban.
Non-required, but preferred
- Ability to host.
- Ability to record scores at the intervals with a camera.
- Ability to capture card entire games and edit + upload.
Shoutcaster
Role
Shoutcasters provide live commentating for clan matches and upload after games as a record.
Shoutcaster Application
All CyberGamer's shoutcaster's are currently provided by our friends at GameSTAH. If you are interested, you need to sign up over there, and send in an application.
Review Team
Role
Able to submit original works and relevant articles and news to be featured on the CyberGamer forums and homepage. This can be reviews, previews interviews and anything else to do with the gaming community.
Article Writer Requirements:
- Previous staff role.
- Information you submit as an article must be in your own words.
- Any information which is obtained from other sources should be referenced and linked back to the original source.
- Ability to provide content at least once a week.
- Ability to follow other article's template and format.
Pug admin
Role
- Ensure PUG's are trouble free
- Investigate and ban members for breaches of Guidelines.
PUG Admin Requirements
- Previous staff roles
- Active in PUG's
- No Recent PUG bans.
YouTUBE team
Role
Capcarders are to make themselves available when people request a Capcard for high profile games. Compress and edit footage ready for the YouTUBE channel and responsible for passing on footage to YouTUBE Editor ASAP. YouTUBE team also moderates
The Vault section of CG.
YouTUBE team Requirements:
- Previous staff role
- Capcard and editing software
- Ability to edit footage to a CG standard.
- Ability to spectate a game once a week.
Moderator
Role
As a moderator you are expected to understand and lead by example in accordance with the
CyberGamer forum Guidelines. Your role is to enforce all points in the guidelines, issue bans for breaches, move and lock topics as required and help people enjoy their time on forums.
Moderator Requirements
- Previous staff role.
- Mature, respected and contributing member of the CG community.
- Understanding of the guidlines and the ability to enforce them.
Game admin
Role
- Promote their ladder.
- Organise seasons, and finals.
- Handle any disputes and Q/A.
- Provide FAQ / How to / Announcements for staff and public.
- Investigate breaches of Guidelines.
- Promote/demote staff members as they see fit.
- Improve systems and define or refine processes.
Admin Requirements
We are only promoting people to admins if they have proved themself in other staff roles.
