(earn't about 7k last financial year and did tax return, got it all back tho because i was a youngen)

If you got ALL of your PAYG tax back (which im assuming you have because you have fallen below the tax free threshold of $11,000), technically you paid no tax last financial year. Thus you dont qualify for the stimulus payment.

PS: Not having anzac day as a public holiday this year paid for our 900 bucks imo.

This touches on my other theory
the givernment tells australia everyone gets a 900 dollar check to help boost the economy in April.
Just before april they state that this excludes certain groups (ie students, those who have not done tax return, rich ****s etc).
These groups have already spent some of the money they where expecting to get.

My original theory was that nobody would get their 900 bucks after promises it would come but i have mine now so that theory is gone out the window.
