Tonight, vP faced off against the competitive and expected grand final winners gossip girl e-sports. There was a long history between both teams and quite a story to tell. The rivalry all began when Pedro, vP's captain, was caught and banned for hacking on Gamearena while playing with the gossip girl e-sports members, LambOfGod, downsindrom_ and cretin. In reaction to this betrayl of their trust and love, they left the team, Australian Field Ops, joining up with their friends Lancexoxo, nein and Arrow to play for No Problem and reaching their goal of #1 on the ladder which was something that Pedro was never able to lead them to. This in turn lead to the creation of gossip girl e-sports on the newly created Cybergamer ladder. However, with the creation of the Cybergamer ladder also came with the creation of an evil force by the name of Versatile Prototype, a collection of caught hackers and cheaters, Zonji, meadow and Stompy and a few randoms from -Oz- which the leader, Pedro, raised and trained to achieve his life long goal of becoming an ET champion.

Early in the Cybergamer ET ladder's life gossip girl e-sports climbed to the top of the ranks to claim the #1 position. However, they would lose this placing in a tragic misfortune and fittingly to their rival, Versatile Prototype. Much speculation surrounds the events in which unfolded when the #1 spot was taken by Versatile Prototype, as it was taken by a forfeit win with vP claiming that the gossip girl e-sports players had hacked pedro's account despite not a single gossip girl e-sports knowing how to hack. Unfortunatly a COD referee who has never played ET or know a single person in the community was running the ladder at the time and favoured with Pedro's band of thugs and low lifes. Sadly this caused much distrust and turmoil amongst the gossip girl e-sports members with multiple players leaving the team and leaving the team in a rut.

Alas, it was time for the final series. Gossip girl e-sports had scraped in through inactivity and low member numbers and were in the loser bracket. After some inspiring wins, cretin contacted the old star of the team, Lancexoxo, asking him to return to the team under the 'Manager' title. Lancexoxo accepted this offer hoping to get some revenge on the team's old rival, vP. What could be more fitting for the finals but a elimination match between two teams with a long history and rivalry? It was like a fairy tale and like all fairy tales, the good guys came out on top. Gossip girl e-sports defeated vP, 1-F, with Pedro's rag tag group of ruffians elimated from the final series as they should be.

What does the future bring? Who knows, only God himself has an idea. However, I have a sneaking suspiscion that we will see some big things from gossip girl e-sports in the future, perhaps even taking out the Cybergamer ET title itself. As for vP? Many hope that karma continues to punish these criminals, as cheating and hacking are unforgivable. But the future doesn't matter, as we are in the present and that is all that matters, as well as gossip girl e-sports being ET champions.

I would like to thank everyone who has ever played for gossip girl e-sports and assisted us in this long awaited moment of redemption. I would like to also thank God for placing us on this beautiful Earth and for it's creation. Some people say that we are all created for a reason and I believe that the true reason that myself and my comrades in gossip girl e-sports was to play and be succesful in ET which is something we have just done.
