Could someone please give me a website link to a webpage that has a list of blue screen error codes and what they mean, been getting an annoying bluescreen whilst using my computer, and the sites i've checked haven't got the error code im receiving.

or if someone could tell me what my error code means and how to fix it would be even better :p

stop code = 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFFa800368c038, 0x00000000F2000030, 0x0000000008000E0F)

yes i've tried googling the code and i can't find anything, any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
thank you

after a few reads of the first couple of threads that came up upon entering the stop code into google, it looks like its a hotswaping problem? as they said, try remove any pci wirelesscards, or random wireless cards. You may need to update MB bios firmware. Try updating vid card drivers/sound drivers/physics drivers. If you get stop codes, just enter it at microsoft.com

When does it actually happen? Just randomly while on the internet? Starting a game or program?

it is completely random, though it happens more frequently at night and whilst playing games and booting up for some reason.

I have a friend who had a bluescreen problem - I can't remember the error code, but the symptoms were pretty similar. I fixed it by chucking in a new power supply. The generic one couldn't handle the load from his gaming. I doubt this is your PC's problem but on the off chance it is, what are your specs?

RAM!...if you have 3x1 gig sticks?
take one out at a time, then by your powers of deduction, figure out which stick is causing it.
ive done this so many times [sm-bawl]
alot of blue screens are due to ram, and generally are hardware related.
if youve reinstalled windows then youve basically ruled out any software/virus etc etc

It all looks fine, PSU is a little bit wussy, but it's no john howard....
could be this too, but shrugs

dont upgrade the bios yet... but it may help...
but to update it goto your manufactures website, find your model motherboard, and there should be instructions somewhere there.

It could be that both the sticks are screwed. It's happened to me before [sm-bawl]
Download and run Memtest to rule out a RAM issue.

What brand/model is your PSU? If it's a Corsair 450 you should be fine.

Reason: Superflower is a good brand :/

i think my psu is some generic branded one, xsonic =/
uhhh, the 2gig stick is relativly new, had it for just over a month, but i've got some suspicions
that the 1gig stick could be ****ed, but other than that, im thinking i need a new power supply =/

ask to borrow a friends stick wherever you can or something...
if you take it to a pc shop they have spares of everything to diagnose...

its hard to forum diagnose, but a new PSU never hurt anyone.
