CyberGamer Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Winter Cup

WITH A MASSIVE POTENTIAL PRIZE POOL OF $2000*

We are proud to announce the VERY FIRST CyberGamer Modern Warfare 2 Winter Cup

• It will start on Friday the 9th of JULY 2010
  
• Rosters will be locked @ 11:59pm on Sunday the 4th of JULY 2010
  
• It will be a Pay-to-Play competition $50 PER TEAM
  
• It will run over approximately 7 weeks*
  
• Matches will be played on Sunday & Monday EVERY WEEK
  
• It will run in the format of the current SnD Ruleset
  
• It will be 24 rounds with 12 rounds per side. (12 rounds, Game Re-make, 12 rounds)
  
• Challenges will be made for round one and sent out to teams by 11:59PM on the 3rd of July.
  

* Competition length/structure/prize pool is subject to change depending on the amount of teams registered.

How many teams can enter?
The competition is open to 32 teams in which each team will be assigned to one of 4 groups of 8 Teams*, playing in a League format.
(So there is no need for you to worry about challenging others or accepting challenges as your friendly admin team will do this for you!)

What happens when the group stage is over?
The top 2 teams from each group will move into finals at the end of the groups' playoffs. The finals will be run in double elimination format over 3* weeks and you can see the bracket HERE

Prizes!!!
Once we have declared a WINNER the top 3 teams will share the total of the entry money!
60% for FIRST PLACE
30% for SECOND PLACE
10% for THIRD PLACE^
^ The 3rd placing will be decided by a match between the two teams which lost their semi-final.

But if 32 teams sign up @ $50 per team thats only $1600 in the Prize Pool?, Your thread says $2000!!
For the teams that QUALIFY in their groups and proceed to the Final 8, CYBERGAMER will GIVE YOU BACK your $50 ENTRY FEE!
(And not from the original prize pool, but from THEIR OWN POCKET! 8 x $50 = 400 + 1600 = 2000!)
