OK i wasnt sure if this should be pc help or normal section... but my cod4 keeps crashing. not a pb error or an actual error... just says," iw3mp.exe has stopped working" then close or look for online solutions. virus scanned with nod32 and avira antivirus and nothing. checked all my apps. closed all non required processes and reinstalled the game. still same issue.

any ideas?

got bleak, formatted... installed... runs fine now...

i think, there was an issue with my headphones/speakers both being plugged in and me swapping priority depending on what i was doing and it killed itself... i did go with only one plugged in at a time, with none plugged in, with both plugged in and set as default on drivers. i also viewd all the disabled things in my sound and recording devices, tried disabling all except default... then disabling all to see if no sound worked... then enabling specificly speakers or headphones, all nothing... even system restore to a week ago when it was fine did nothing... no idea what was wrong
