General Rules (that are not found in the other stickies)
Teams have 15 minutes to get a minimum of 4 players in the server to start the game. You cannot play a game with 3 players. If a team has 3 players in the server at any point during the match, they have 5 minutes to get a 4th back in (in case of a lag out etc).
The opposing team may elect to wait longer or reschedule the game and we appreciate your good sportsmanship, but you are not required to and may forfeit the other team if you disagree at the 15 minute mark (unless they have a player on their way [like literally connecting within the next 2 minutes]).
If a team agrees to wait and then goes back on the decision and the opposing team provides proof (demo usually best) and the other team tries to get the free win from a forfeit, they will be forfeited themselves for bad sportsmanship/bad conduct.
Forfeits are to be entered as 16-0 (not 1-0)
IF for some reason a match server goes down during a round (such as an accidental double booking), that round is not counted. Please contact your designated CG League Admins to get the server fixed or a different CG server organized.
Any player competing in CGi, CGm or CGa cannot compete for a CGo team because CGo is the pre-requisite for entering CGa from now on. If a player is found to be smurfing for a CGo team that CGo team will be dropped from the ladder and that player will receive a 7 day match ban.
The two losing teams from CGi will be demoted to CGm in the next season. The two losing teams from CGm will be demoted to CGa in the next season and the two losing CGa teams will be put back in the CGo league in the next season. Top two teams elevate from the leagues.
If a player cannot get EAC working, they cannot play the match. Simple as that.
CoD admins are allowed to referee matches at their leisure.
Teams may request a referee by asking one of the admins to spectate their game. Referees cannot spectate matches of their own team. If a referee is also competing in your league, he may be asked to leave the server if
BOTH teams agree, unless it is regarding an AC issue.
The Anti-Cheat team members have the ability to flag players for upload and review by the Demo Review team. This player is required to submit weekly demos until further notice (cleared by AC team). Currently the only flagged player is
Killerbot, after coming down from a match ban
EAC Setup Guide
1.
Download EAC
2. Disable Windows Firewall and any Antivirus Software/Firewalls as it detects EAC as a Trojan because of it's intrusive nature into your system [Ch3ddars beware]
3. Open Call of Duty 4, go to Options and Multiplayer Options and change Punkbuster Enabled to 'No'
4. Run the EAC executable
5. Select your Country [Australia]
6. Select your Server provider [Cybergamer]
7. Go back into CoD4 and connect to your server
8. Check to see if EAC has identified you (it will show your alias and a GUID)
Current issues:
EAC will close CoD4 on you if you are alt-tabbed from the game for over 60 seconds, this is intentional for some reason by the developer.
There was an issue with spaces in player names, it is meant to have been fixed. If you are identified on EAC but are getting kicked for EAC not running in game, delete any blank spaces from your in game name (shouldn't happen anymore though)
If your EAC program does not show the server list, usually it is because the required ports are being blocked. Free up ports 50300 and 50301
