Have you tried to 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'? Sometimes if you don't re-download the game and install from a backup (or copy/pasted files), the file that is having issues is not fixed.

its obvious corrupt file. hurdur 'Disconnect: Your client has become corrupted. Please restart your game before reconnecting.' and sometimes verifying it cant fix it. did u delete all remains of files before you reinstalled? because when u uninstall a game it still leaves file remains from the game and the bug will still be there... bcoz this happend 2 me on mw2. but worked once i deleted the files and reinstalled. also check your graphics drivers but i doubt this has relation to it.
