The CoD Admin team is pleased to announce a COD4 revival with a P2P tournament. This tournament will be held near-immediately after the S&D CGi finals conclude. The tournament format will be a Round-Robin, much similar to the 1st MW2 CGi/m League.
The number of teams competing will depend upon interest from the community, however we can say it will be some number dividable by 8. Finalists from previous COD4 S&D Seasons on Cybergamer will be given preference. However new teams are still able to apply to join the league.
Teams that are not currently on the COD4 S&D ladder will need to create a team there, so if they are chosen, they can be moved into the COD4 Tournament. The COD4 5v5 S&D Ladder can be found here:
Ladder Page
Again, please note that there is a limit of teams. Your team may not be chosen to participate in the competition. Participants will be selected by the CoD Admin team, it is
not a case of first in best dressed.
Finals will be addressed once we have more information on the competition structure and teams competing.
Rosters:
Teams must have a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 9 players. Any player that has not paid the entry fee by August 20th is inneligible to compete in the competition at any stage. There will
not be a trade week.

Entry fees apply. $10 per person. Teams that are already on the COD4 S&D ladder, or wish to make a new team on that ladder and compete on it until the Tournament payment period begins (August 1st-20th August) can register their interest in this thread:

Teams that do not wish to compete in the ladder but wish to apply to join the P2P League can join the League Waiting Pool here:

Maps will be announced every
Monday night by a non-participating CoD Admin. For Rounds 1-7, each game will only consist of 1 map. The finals system and format will be announced at a later date, though will be similar to the setup which is used in CGo Finals, though this decision is pending numbers and so forth.
Spawns:
For Rounds 1-7 the spawns will be determined by Knife rounds. The winner of the knife round gets to choose which spawn they will begin on.
Game Rules:
No rules will be changed from the last season of COD4. The rules can be found here:
COD4 S&D Rules
Drop Outs
Any team that drops out during or just before commencement of the competition will be punished with bans. Concerning who gets the ban and the extent of the ban, will be determined on a case by case basis, however the minimum ban for any player is 1 Month CG Match Ban + 1 P2P Comp Ban.
Additional:
It is possible some of the above will change, i.e. schedules, team numbers and formats. The Admin team reserves the right to punish misconduct at their discretion. What is perceived as cheating is not limited to the COD4 Ladder Rules.
Please note, this competition will be running along side Season 2 of MW2 CGi/m. You can compete in both, or one or the other.
**To clarify something, teams that are registered, have basically just registered their team and team name. They must show that they have the numbers (5-9) to compete to be eligible to be chosen.
**Once teams are selected they then have until the 20th of August to make their payments. During this time they are also able to alter their roster. It does not have to reflect their registration line-up. However, the same rule that has always applied will apply here. If you register your team and get chosen to compete but decide to change your roster up, you must keep 3 originals that were signed up to the team at time of registration.
Thanks,
CoD Admin Team
