I play alliance on Frostmourne PVP server
My Cataclysm main is Excorcist - 85 Arcane Mage
I also have 84 priest (working to get to 85 soon) and 85 (just recently) paladin - these were my WoTLK mains...

So yeah...if anyone still plays I'm definitely up for some raids/fun etc whatever

Recommend playing the trail version first before you buy the whole game to see if you actually enjoy it or not. As for a class to pick hunters are a good class for new players because not to many buttons are involved and your pet can take care of most of the fights while you learn what you're doing.

If you do end up liking the game and buy the expansions for it go Alliance on the server 'Aman'thul' and i'll help you out when i can if you like

Find someone to RAF with, get a few toons to 80 real quick read up on your class most info can be found in wow forum stickies level your toons up to 85. Takes a while to get used to but after the initial learning curve you find things become much easier.

What mac said, but probably one of the biggest problems I found when I FIRST started way back in vanilla was the realm I chose was under-populated and actually wasn't an oceanic server, getting anything done was near impossible.

TL;DR make sure you chose a server that is populated when you are online.

What realms are you guys on?

I don't play anymore, the state of PvP is fairly woeful and trying to get a new team/charter into Gladiator range is almost impossible with how bad the queues are, and considering thatss the only aspect of the game I played for I didn't see the point anymore. But I did bounce around from Blackrock, to Tichondrius than to Frostmourne (alliance) with my friend Hewty/Hewters.

Yeah i'm only playing it for PvP perposes, it isn't the best this patch but hopefully 4.3 will fix that. It's looking really good so far blizzard are bringing out loads of new stuff. Might of been different when you played buy queues are only like 1 minute at the most currently.

Played on Thaurassan, Jubi is the best PvP realm for oceanic last time i checked. I PvP'd on Blackrock, Frostmourne, Barthrillas, Thaurassan both horde and alliance. Que's werent that big of an issue for me cause i was always trolling the AH and doing business on alts but you always requed if you were in que longer than the average time because there was a bug with it or something.

My main is on Nagrand - 85 fire/ frost mage belf (Icancurhooha). I only really play to be social and get achievements nowadays but when my computer is fixed up I'll be on more for PVP.
