Considering HDMI is the best picture you can get. Not sure why you would want to convert it to VGA unless your monitor doesn't support it. Otherwise just use the VGA xbox cable. Save your money and buy a few slurpee's

I have tested VGA vs HDMI 1.3. HDMI 1.3 Vs HDMI 1.4 and HDMI is the winner. VGA is still good. It will not improve anything going from a converted cable from HDMI to VGA. The end result will be you plugging VGA into the monitor.
