1st round of WC had Star vs Clarity on the unfamiliar map on Invasion; this was to be a close fought match, with Star being slight favourites due to obvious experience advantages in the mw2 scene. Both teams did not disappoint with them bringing their star players to the fore. Tratty and Syke were there for moral support, i think....

Straight up was the knife rnd, which went quickly with players baiting and all the action happening around the tank, with team ganging up on players for quick kills galore. Clarity won the knife rnd just and decided to start on defence.

1st rnd went rly quick, going Star's way, with them starting the 12 rnd switch on defence, the following 3 rnds went just as quick in Star's favour! The comeback started with denied and cuzzy urging the team forward, and gaining some composure, Clarity won the next few rnds with some mass pushes to the B side; the 1st half was tightly fought with Clarity just edging ahead at half on 7-5.

Beginning of the 2nd half, showed no disappointment, and action got under way as quickly as the 1st half had ended. Once again Star's line up took out the 1st rnd quick smart, but luckily for Clarity they clued up and gained a small lead of 10-7; but unfortunately they couldn't hold it and lost the lead 10-11, The FIRE UP CALLS WENT OUT! Next rnd due to some unfortunate incident i got tked, but swiftz pulled together a big rnd to get a 4 down and my forgiveness, and put Clarity back on par with Star. Star quickly proceeded to win the next rnd, and rly put Clarity in deep trouble of losing the match, with all of the action happening around A, it soon got put to a 1v1 situation with Nube vsing the host Morph, with some carefully flanking and out trickery, I managed to get the kill to send the game into overtime! The call came out for the name change that was necessary, ClutchMassive!

With this big pick up, Clarity were eager to close the match out there and then, with them winning the 3 rnds on defence in OT, Star came back quickly and just as eager to win the next rnd making it 3-1, but Clarity were too keen for the victory, they could smell it, like a shark who smells fish blood from miles away, nothing was going to stop them from pulling it off, with a Mass push B, Clarity pushed it to a 2v2 situation with the bomb going down, cuzzy pulling of the crucial kill of the flank to leave the scope in B building, with so many pokes he was under heavy fire and get banged more heavily than a $5 hooker.

Clarity had pulled of the unthinkable, they had beaten Star with basically no idea as to what they were doing, with minimal knowledge and 1 scrim up their sleeve on the map, they were gods in the eyes of many(well maybe demigods to be more precise)!

Final Score 16-13 to Clarity, Best of Luck to Star in your next match, and watch out any who come up against the clear power of Clarity!

Note Worthy Players/ Big plays: Everyone really,bah nube; every other player did very well in the match and kudos to Star for the match it was truly great!

Most noteworthy part of that match I believe was the accuracy of Clarity, especially of Cuzzy and Swiftz. The only way I personally managed to get a kill on Cuzzy was when he didn't know where I was. Some real hours has gone into their gameplay in terms of aiming, whether its in cod4 or mw2.

Game was an awesome game to watch, Cuzzy with the famas was deadly. Denied was runnin around like he had mad cow disease. And Morph with ACR still mind boggles me some times.
