Hey guys,

I really want to improve WoW arena as an e-sport outside of WoW's tournament realm, and their official competitions.

By convincing Blizzard to introduce the ability to challenge arena teams cross-realms this will open up the possibilities of creating CG ladders and competitions as we will be able to create matches against players by simply challenging them to a match on a day of a competition and recording the results on our own record.

I am currently posting my suggestion in the suggestion forums on the WoW website and trying to create attention in the general forums, though i need help from others to make this happen. I have even thought of taking this as far as getting CG involved and maybe trying to contact someone within blizzard to suggest our idea, though i am not sure what blizzard's view on this matter would be.

If anyone thinks this would be a great idea or would like to help in any way post on this thread.

yeh i thought i may as well try get a response atleast, and get something to happen rather than sitting around hoping for somthing to happen.

Bliz don't care what you want, if they can make money out of it, they would of already done it.

Everyone seems pretty negative haha.

Blizzard's rated BGs will be using a challenging system as well, though i don't believe it will be using a cross-realm system.

Well playing since BETA days I can tell you they haven't really been on the side of the customers. They'll just do what they want..

How about we work on a CG ladder, and Vs each other by syncing ques?

creating a specific ladder for this sort of thing will cause more drama than good.

there is also no way to police the ladder regarding disputing or wasting time with the possibility of versing the wrong team thats not part of CG.

we COULD create a trial ladder. but right now there doesnt seem to be much interest.

if you can generate lots of interest for a ladder (3v3 or 5v5. 2v2 is apparently lols) with approximately 60 different interested people (for a 20 team 3v3 ladder) or 100 people for 5v5. then sure lets give it a shot.

any less is not really worth it. might as well make threads requesting challenges.

Yeh i think a 3v3 is more suitable for a ladder.

I'll make a thread request challenges in the 3v3 bracket to test how easy it is and to see if there is much interest.

at the moment i do challenge friends teams cross realm just for fun and to practice against different comps. We normally sync Que'ing over vent by counting down and normally get each other most of the time with no problems.

like i said, if you can generate the numbers, im more than happy to approach asterix in setting up a ladder for you guys.

I really think this will be a lot of fun outside of the rated arena grind, and a chance to see the Australian arena scene.
