Hi Guys,
The admin team is currently working on the UAC2 issue. As some of you may recall there was a thread posted up saying that we were going to drop UAC2 from MW2 Competition. Unfortunately due to some lack of communication (Most being on my part as i was away overseas) there was some information posted which was not exactly true.
We are completely aware of the outstanding issues with UAC2, and we are working very closely with the developers to try and get this resolved asap.
As such, UAC2 WILL be required for the remainder of the Winter Cup, and depending on how our breakfixes go with the UAC developers we will determine if UAC2 will remain in CG MW2 for FUTURE competitions. (This means that it is still required for CURRENT ones)
Within the next 24 HOURS a thread will be made that will hoepfully answer everyone's questions regarding UAC2, and the appropriate steps on what you need to do to comply with AC Measures. I encourage all captains to keep there eye open for this thread, and assist there team members accordingly.
Due to outstanding issues with UAC, we are enforcing a "Grace Period" untill
Saturday 24th @ 11:59pm. During this time your team
WILL NOT be punished for failing to be running UAC in matches, although we do encourage every team to use it. Within this "Grace Period" we expect all teams to get there UAC clients working in order, and also raise support tickets with both CG MW2 and UAC in order to get their client working.
You can raise a Support ticket by visiting
http://www.cybergamer.com.au/support and Assigning the ticket to "PC - Call of Duty MW2", Alternatively if you have a favourite admin please feel free to PM them.
Once again i apologise on behalf of the MW2 Admin Team for the miss-communication that was provided, and i sincerely hope we can hurdle this leap as easy as we did with the other restricting MW2 issues (Ded servers, Mod Support). I sincerely hope that all teams will do there best to help each other out, and also be patient whilst the admin team work on your UAC2 issues.
Once again, this is not the most informative of posts, we are still ironing out the bugs and will release a Public Information Sticky to the forums soon.
Thanks,
ViroL
