With the launch of the new WesternDigital CSS Leagues we bring you another competition familiar to you all; the MegaComp. As it states in the title the competition will be ran over a span of one day. The format of this competition will be ran in a round robin style tournament with single elimination finals. This competition's results will contribute to team placements for the leagues. The competition is set to be held on the 8th of August.
This competitions team selection and placements will be selected by the administration team at the end of the registration period. Registration will stay open until 6pm Wednesday 4th of August.
EAC will be used as the Anti-Cheat for the duration of this comp.

- Group Stages - Round Robin

MEGA Comp Requirements:
Please find below important details you and your team need to know in order to have an enjoyable trouble free day of competition.
Team Registration and info:
- To Register your team for the MEGA Comp please use the following form: MEGA Comp Application Form.
- After you have submitted your form, if you find you need to change something reply to this topic. Any applications with missing data will be overlooked. Applications are restricted to 1 per Team. Get it right the first time, otherwise to edit reply with changes in this thread
- Your team will be acknowledged when you have a minimum of 5 players with completed data submitted.
- Your team must maintain 60% of its original players in your application or you will be dropped to the bottom of the current first-in-best-dressed list for hijacking.
- Your team must be available for the entire day of Sunday 8th August
- Each member of your team must be a registered CG member. Register here
- Rosters must have a minimum of 5 players though 6 is preferred, however you cannot have any more than 8 players per team.
- Rosters will be LOCKED at 10:00pm on Saturday 7th of August. Any Players that do not have completed data in the Application will be unable to join the servers. zBlock will flag each player and kick anyone not registered for the MEGA Comp. Also remember CG uses IP tagging.
- If your team is not ready for the start of round 1, you will be dropped from the comp and replaced with a reserve team.
- All additional applications from teams will be for reserves. It would be in your best interests if you wish to be a reserve to be online from 9:30am till start on Sunday 8th August. Lucy will add the team captain to steam on the day if we need you. Any teams that do not show up for round 1 will be replaced with a reserve.
- The competition will run under the CyberGamer CSS Ladder Rules.Ensure all your players have read our Rules. We have no flexibility in them, and harsh penalties will be issued for breaking them.
- This is the MEGA Comp 4 Bracket - Not yet released
Information about Server Details:
- The MEGA Comp will be run through a private forum on the day. There will be an initial Sign in thread where the captain is required to post that there team is present . As the captain you must sign in on the register thread from 9:30am and before 10:45am Sydney time.
- Server Information for each round will be posted in a separate thread. eg Round 1 Server Details and results will be asked to be recorded in the same thread. Once a round is over, the next round server details will be posted up. If you notice match results are starting to come in, the next round should be starting soon, so refresh your page frequently.
- Captains will be given access to the forum as the date draws near. It can be found the same way as the main CSS discussion forum is found. Alternatively, you can go to it through this link Here.
- If your captain is absent on the day, please PM Lucy or Muggie so we can allow another team member to view the forum.
- For support on the day and leading up to the competition, contact any of the following people: Lucy or Muggie with a site PM or Ventrilo.
- The start of each round will be advertised. Matches are to start within 10 minutes after the posted starting time for the round.
- At the end of your match you must post your scores in the round thread. Example of this is: SynTraders:12 vs Asplode:8
- If an issues arises contact an admin in the support thread. Alternatively, we will also have Ventrilo support on the day. use "vent.cybergamer.com.au // 22540"
- If there are any problems with zBlock or players being kicked from the server, contact ZeeBOB or DOS immediately via Ventrilo or Site PM.

Gameplay info
- Each player must run EAC for their matches. You can get the EAC client here (Click the Teddy) and see how it works in this thread: EAC Setup Guide
- Each member must record a PoV demo. You risk forfeiting your match if you do not.
- It is in your best interests to take Screenshots of the final scores & of Status in console
- All MEGA Comp matches will begin with a knife round. Servers have been adjusted for the day so that .r will default to Ko3. The winner of the knife round will have choice of sides. Should the losing team of the knife round refuse to comply with the selection made by the winning side take a screenshot and a match forfeit will result.
- wm_min_ready will be set at 10(5+5). You MUST notify an admin if you are playing with 4 so we can change min_ready to 9(5+4). As per CG rules, your 5th can join at any stage of the game.
- Once you have your server details matches are to start within 10minutes by .r for Ko3. THERE ARE NO EXTENSIONS OR RESCHEDULES. BE THERE OR FORFEIT
- There are no draws. You must play out overtime until a winner is declared.
- Anyone caught using players not on their registration application will have their match forfeited.
- All players are requested to vacate the server within 2 minutes of the match completion. Penalties will be issued for keeping servers tied up needlessly
