How far would you go to win?

Let me tell you a true story about how far a team really would go to win, something that I had mixed emotions after uncovering, but couldn't keep to myself. What a little bit of money does to be people makes me wonder why I even bother being apart of this community.

Let me take you back about 9 months ago, my clan NMA was going pretty good, CoD4 was at its peak and in its most competitive period. However, I had stuff going on in my life so we all decided to end NMA, and sorted where players were going before pulling the pin. We still had a few games to play out, so we decided to finish Got Games Inter and try and go out on a high. We were playing unorganised up until the round robin, then we focused and played some great games, finished top and beat some quality teams.

Then it came to the final series and first up was Malice B team, a team that was totally different to the last time we played them, a game we won convincingly. Players that hadn't fired in previous were going off, maybe just a coincidence. Sadly not, as I will explain, but during the game I was the only member of NMA not muted by the opposing captain, who let slip this fine quote when talking to MLC Taunt3d "how about that line of fire Goose". There was a bit of a pause, and then he said, " Uh, I mean Taunted". What's interesting about this is that GooseJuice wasn't supposed to be in the game and was in Malice A team at the time.

I understood what it meant, but was confused of what I heard, and unsure of what to do. The game was played out and we lost, sending us off to play some tough second chance games. I wasn't happy and NMA wasn't happy, most of us suspected something was up, but little could be done and we had no proof. There were 2 new accounts in that game, but it could have been coincidence and we believed that their other accounts were banned. I contacted Starks and notified him of our problem, and what would happen if we made it to the finals.

Eventually we ended up making the Got Games Intermediate final and were matched against Malice B again, much discussion was had between NMA about how to handle the duplicate account issue. However, on the night everyone's Gamertags matched up, and we were muted so nothing could be done. We assumed at the time we were playing the right team, so we went in hard and played the game, ignoring the problems of the last game and dismissing our suspicions as a coincidence.

The match was epic, many tie breakers and went to 5 maps over almost 5 hours, and it was the most intense game I've ever played. But alas, now I know it was also against the dirtiest team, and my suspicions all that time ago have recently been confirmed. I found out from a few Malice players that Goosejuice played as Zmw and Kirby played as MLC Taunted in the final after downloading their accounts. Also MLC Jordo was playing badly half way through, and was apparently subbed out when Grunt Rebellion went over to his house and played for him. ~ Not true about Grunt / Jordo, was a rumour, and shouldnt have posted that bit.

I personally don't care about the money, I just feel robbed that a team I respected, was so deceiving, and I just want everyone to know this. Many on that team are great players, but what has happened is not acceptable. From my understanding this was all instigated by Tweaka after some players quit CoD 4 to play Halo, but I don't want this to remain a secret amongst Malice members any more. You need to face up to what you did, and there is no denying what I have found out.

I wont name my sources or any more stories other than what I already have, but some people who I consider mates were involved and from what I heard this isn't the first time Malice did something like this. The team as a whole knew about this, and other things like this, along with many players before and after contributed to covering this up until now.

This initially happened on Got Games ladders, but to my understanding it had been going on long before and even after, with similar happenings here at Cyber Gamer.

I wanted to talk to all Malice members before posting this, but some are MIA right now and it would be denied anyway, so im just putting this out now as ive heard enough and know that this is all true.

Oh and lets not forget the GG Season 2 finals when Krypton and Turky were with Kirby and Goose. Pookebab will remember this when Turky had a random potshot through a wall and killed Pookebab after Pooks killed Krypton. hmmmm...

how about 4 out of 5 of your players signed up for a team an hour before our match, oly to be all kicked by the leader after the match
