Respawn v18 LAN has just been announced @ www.respawn.com.au


I think I've already organized a team with a few well known lan_proven champions. Who else is thinking of coming down?

The event is in 2 months, so just giving everyone early notice. Rego's don't open until 27th of August and confirmation date will probably be a few weeks after that - so make sure you organize your teams early and sign up!. Prizes are TBA (most likely $500 first prize; $250 second).

With the way the CoD4 comp was run last time (A ******* joke) I'm not attending respawn LANs anymore.

I'm sure it wasn't that bad (I didn't attend - enlighten why it was bad ?).

You have like 2 months to make suggestions to the admin team over @ their forums.

Also, hopefully they dish out cash prizes this time, instead of hardware prizes.

They wont dish out anymore cash the stingy bastards. Best to go to MLE for proper cash winnings lol.

Seedings were so stupid, prizes were just as stupid (Some of the boys keyboards didn't even work correctly) The format and how a competitor with a 'snake like' attitude was partially in charge.

I'll go back to leech another 500gb of porn.. and maybe some Entourage but not to compete.

All the keyboards won worked properly, the prizes are designated by sponsors so if they want to give gear instead of money they will, the cod4 comp was run flawlessly, the only problem you guys had was the finals bracket if im not mistaken and how it was setup.

Other than that was a good lan. I'm hoping i can get a good team together for this one like i have the past ones, and im hoping some more quality teams will come.
