Want to record CyberGamer Matches?

If your looking for something to record your games on your Playstation 3 and your able to spend a bit of cash on a HD Recorder then i hope this thread will be able to help you.
The two product overviews below are at this moment in time the best you can get to my knowledge that aren't only compatible, but had the least problems.
Of-Course though there are other products out there and im sure they work perfectly fine, but these are the best in my opinion and in many others, trust me on that.

So have a quick or deep read, make sure you check it all out before your decision and im hoping this helps big time.

BLACK MAGIC INTENSITY SHUTTLE

The Blurb

Intensity lets you capture and playback in the most incredible quality of HDMI and component analog video in both SD and HD. Smash the quality barrier for your video work because Intensity is the highest quality! The new Intensity Shuttle is for USB 3.0 computers!

Intensity Shuttle, the world's first 10 bit HD/SD editing solution for USB 3.0 Windows computers! Simply plug in Intensity Shuttle and get access to incredible quality 10 bit HDMI, analog component, composite and s-video capture and playback. Intensity Shuttle's innovative design is compact and portable, plus you can plug inline with your cables because input connections are on one side, and output connections on the other! Intensity Shuttle powers from the USB 3.0 connection so you don't need cumbersome power supplies. Intensity Shuttle comes ready with advanced video technology such as HDMI 1.3 and 1080p electronics, so it will grow as faster high performance USB 3.0 computers are released in the future!

If your looking to buy one of these magnificent machines, then it will cost you around $200 american, which means depending on the stocks and all that market stuff, it would cost you around $200 then P+H.

HD PVR

The Blurb

HD PVR is the world's first High-Definition video recorder for making real-time H.264 compressed recordings at resolutions up to 1080i. HD-PVR records component video (YCrCb) from cable TV and satellite set top boxes, with a built-in IR blaster to automatically change TV channels for scheduled recordings. Audio is recorded using two channel stereo or optical audio with five channel Dolby Digital.

The recording format is AVCHD, which can be used to burn Blu-ray DVD disks. Two hours of HD recordings, recorded at 5 Mbits/sec, can be burnt onto a standard 4.7 GByte DVD-R or DVD-RW disk for playback on a Blu-ray DVD player.

And if your looking to buy one of these machines of awesomeness, then your looking at $200 + PH depending on the market and stock shit.

So? Have you decided yet? Can you see which one you prefer?
The pretty looking, slim design Black Magic Intensity Shuttle or the basic but practical. works in 3 easy step HD PVR?

It`s up to you and i hope i have provided you with all the information you need to make your purchase. Cause i sure know which one i would buy!

O yer and im just going to put it out there.

I am 100% aware there are alot more products for sale in this area of whatever. But these two i believe are the best two on the market to date and my preference. By all means if people want to add some decent ones they believe are better then let me know and i might add to it.

If you buy the shuttle, make sure you have USB 3.0 not USB 2.0,

Black magic intensity HD (internal card) is better IMO, because not everyone on here will have USB 3.0

2. I don't know if my graphics card is 256mb how do i find out?
3. Do all computers come with a sound card?

Sorry about this I am not to up to date with all the computer and i am definitely considering buying a Haupaugge HD PVR

Unless you have a very fast computer with large ram + fast processor, there is no use in buying a HD pvr..

USB 3.0 is the newer version of USB, and unless you have bought your computer recently, IT WON'T HAVE IT.
