Just wondering if this is normal... When my dads using wifi on his laptop my rego on cod4 is totally shit, hes not downloading or anything, just browsing. And yes, I've even recorded to check that its rego not aim. Sometimes when i aim to the right/left of someone I get hitmarkers, on both promod and random aus/nz servers.

I'm connected with an ethernet cable, the wifi is wireless G.

Probs is lag, no red lines on lagometer anyway.

have you actually bothered to look at our ping when its happening?

If you have an upload speed of say 5-10kb/s on average you'll find if multiple people are using the same connection on sites such as myspace or facebook your connection will suffer and you will lag. At least that was my experience on cable, which has now been fixed since I changed to ADSL2.

Obviously if you notice that this is only happening when another person is using the internet best solution for you is to probs download a bandwidth limiter program and install it on your dads PC and limit him to a small portion of the speed. If hes a noob he wont even notice.
