hi, i just got my new ssd today and to my to my pleasure went about setting it up and installing win7 64 bit on it, i installed chrome and my soundcard drivers and ati drivers....... sounds normal right, yes it is, so i decided whilst installing something i would listen to some tunes off youtube, but to my dismay as soon as the video starting playing i got BSOD......

i have tried numerous things to fix this.... tried a couple of different browsers, reinstalled drivers and win 7, even took out my soundcard to see if that was the problem, but upon uninstalling the ati drivers omg youtube worked fine...... reinstalled ati drivers and fail yet again....... i even resorted to installing older drivers, still to no avail!

This never happened in my old raid setup at all, and work wonderfully, so it is beyond me...

so can someone help me please, this is really frustrating me as i use youtube everyday?

note. i also checked to see if it was just youtube or videos all up, but it is only youtube as i tested a video in wmp...

Any help would be good thanks, and soz for the dribble lol

Run in safe mode, see if the problem occurs. If so it's likely driver related.

Does youtube crash without the soundcard drivers installed?

(Could be that your cpu cooler isn't connected properly like Ize suggested, ROFL )

Put your raid drives back in, boot off them and see if it BSOD's in youtube.

Can't go wrong with the 5870 man.

Install Catalyst 10.4 on the ssd and reinstall realtek for now.
