ok, so my delema.

for the past few months randomly my ping goes up to 500 + after 9pm

so i do the normal thing, call my isp get it taken up to level 2.

they have no idea, they just keep doing loop line tests yadada.
i was told that they reroute the lines @ around 9pm.
i called up my isp apparently some peopls lines have that happened but mine do not apparently.

my isp is tpg.

I m with them too. ATM since 7 o clock my PINGS have been going NUTS!!! 900 PING every bloody aussie server. This isnt first time either. I've sent like 10 trace routes. They cant fix for shit. This is ridiclious. Its been 1 month every ******* night they ruined my Gaming time . TPG is just bad ISP now really and yet they released shit like 500GB plans and shit. This is going to get even worse just watch. When they start losing clients thats when they will wake up I think.

I'm with TPG aswell and get the same problem. For me, it happens from 8.30 to 10.30 PM pretty much every night. It's caused by the peak hour traffic which overloads the system causing some users to receive lower priority service. The only thing you can do is contact your ISP, but even they are generally useless.

What CONTACT? What ISP? Are you joking. I've been with ISP's before like netspace and tpg. Everytime i ****ign opened support ticket or a phone call all i had that they made up was. "Sir, you might have a virus on your computer?" - My Response: So, your saying i got a virus on all 4 of my computers right. Another ones like "Have you tryed resetting or reboot your router or modem?" - My Response: Are you like ******* dum? Do you think I would call you if I didnt do such a thing like that. Hmm and guess what nothing gets solved LOL. Thats whats going to happen. It will be fixed for short time and appear back again and you might want to have a look at new plans mate. If people get them "I think they did" like 500GB plans 200GB plans for cheap as 50-60 bucks. This network will not just overload. It will probably end up disconnecting like DIEING LOL.

CONGESTION!!!! This is Telstra's problem and the ISP cannot fix it due to Telstra controlling the lines. Good luck, I had the same issue, had to wait about 1 year for it to be fixed.

COnvice everyone you know to vote for labor/greens and wait for the NBN to roll around. It's our only hope.
