So I went and bought the "Complete Battlefield 2 Collection" and installed it on my computer without Special Forces and the other expansions. When I used the 1.41 patch setup it installed fine, then when I used the 1.50 patch it began installing but came up with this error after a few minutes.



I tried googling the problem but it just came up with forum questions and people saying they had the same problem etc. I've reinstalled, run as administrator and all that but still no luck. Just wondering whether I can fix this before I go and re-download the 2GB patch.

Yeah just downloaded the patch again and it worked. I didn't want to unless I really had to because I have a small download limit. I'd say there was something lost during the copying process between USBs.
