TBH, i don't want to spend money on testing a mouse that uses the philips twin eye sensor.
Horrible sensor, possibly the worst "gaming grade" sensor on the market.
Might be an alright mouse interms of feel and shape, but that sensor is just horrid

I know this isn't what you intended, but why choose the MX518 over the other same same yet different models? E.G G5 and G500

G5 had the one of the earliest laser sensors. Terrible tracking, low perfect control, low malfunction speed, poor build quality.

G500 has similar problems with jitter due to the sensor using a bad SROM version, the mouse buttons seem to die really quickly according to alot of people. the scroll wheels seems to feel kinda "cheap" and it weighs like a thousand tons.

With the MX518, you get a really reliable mouse, no major flaws except prediction, an excellent performing sensor, quality buttons, and it works with every surface imaginable (cept a few clear glass pads).

Would be interested to know whether or not the Roccat Kone V2 is any good?

Been trying to find some honest comments or info but can't find anything beside the usual bullshit reviews and marketing rubbish.

Guessing the laser sensor in it is rubbish too?

The layout and software for it seemed to look alright at least.

Again, another Philips Twin Eye sensor. I have never personally used the mouse so I can't comment on the quality of it, but any mouse where the company has cheaped out on the sensor like that probably isn't worth the ridiculous price that most of these mice are.

Hey there, I'm a person with fairly long palm/fingers, I was looking for some accordingly large mouse so I could palm it, preferably wireless. Any kewl suggestions?

I got a g5 atm which is 3 years old and has some disconnect issues, so I'll have it replaced soon and was wondering if I should ask for another g5 or look for something else. I'm fine with the g5, but I wanted to try a wireless mouse for once, plus I could use like 20% extra size so I could palm it.

I was checking the sidewinder x8 but apparently from what I've read around here it's not really decent.
