Today was the biggest event that has been run on new CG tourney system. We would like to hear feedback from you regarding any issues you experienced, weather they be graphically, scrolls, parts not showing up, zoom feature etc etc.

Please include as much detail as you can including the browser you were using.

Also feel free to include any features you might think would be cool to add in the future.

Thanks

Browser: Chrome

Feedback:

Tournaments brackets worked great. However my only complaint is that when the site was underload, when zooming in on the bracket it would bug out. When i would scroll down the page, the top half of my page would constantly replicate itself as i scrolled down. I had to refresh my browser to be able to see anything again.

something i think the public needs to know is that all of the admins are volunteers, there's no uni subjects you can study with people telling you exactly how to do things. all of the admins have been hand picked & we all come from separate competitive gaming backgrounds, we all know the pain of going through comps and we'll do the best we can to give you the best gaming experience possible

the quicker we can adjust to current problems through your feedback (don't worry we're not going to label you as whingers) the quicker we can give the best tournaments available. no one held a gun to our heads and said you have to be an admin, we've all done it out of passion

Was fairly good, if there was a problem with lack of admin contact at the start of the event, maybe just recruit some more admins?

^ pretty much all that was wrong was lack of admins being able to respond to PM's from the players from what I saw. IRC is a pretty messy system with everyone advertising trying to find who they were vsing lol. ;p

Overall it was great though, cheers for putting in the hard work deL and co!

Have players with the id # in brackets instead of their cybergamer account name. Makes it easier to find people.

Went fine.

on chrome, i had a bizzare problem where the brackets would constantly scroll down... was seriously so odd .

also, somehow make it so you cant sign up to the brackets UNLESS you have the name.ident in your profile?

CHROME didn't work for me at all. Just used IE and it worked perfectly fine.

IRC chat was a disaster to read through. #SC2Bracket1 #SC2Bracket2 or something.

Hey yeah that was mahhh bad. I fixed it half way through the tournament, though people would have needed to hard refresh to get the fix

Might want to double check that because i only had that problem at the end of the night. Mine was fine (chrome) at the start.

Try Ctrl+Shift+R, Snap mentioned a hard refresh, that will clear your cache (hard refresh). A standard reload of the page or navigating back to the page wouldn't have fixed it.

It's most likely that you won't even need to worry though as your cache will reset and fix the issue before you'll need to use the bracket next time..

Back on topic, the one thing I noticed that'd help is having their B.net identifier show rather than the CG Username. Not too hard to navigate to their profile, but when the site was under load it could take a decent amount of time just trying to work out their details

Run pretty well though - thanks!

OrangeCoconut and TenderSteak! Now I'm hungry.

I only advanced to the 2nd round so I didn't experience alot of the issues people have mentioned. Seemed very cool to me, and the admin response time was great too (cheers Freq). As Leg said; the only improvement from my angle would be to put the players identifier # in the bracket so we can find them easier. I was fortunate that my round 1 opponent took the initiative and contacted me first, otherwise I might have had some issues.
