hey guys i would be playing cod for a bit then it will frezze and i cant do anything but force restart my computer i have reformated and reinstalled everything it was ok for a while untill just befor. it was doing it befor i redone my computer so if any1 could help plz reply or add fosterftw on xfire

ok, i am going to help you so you don't have several idiots like myself troll this thread.

Firstly, type something that makes sense, because at the moment that tells us nothing. Maybe mention how long you play before it freezes, does it only freeze after playing COD4 any other obvious symptoms.

sometimes it will play for 15 - 20 mins then frezze. it frezzes in mw2 as well but not as much would it help if i gave u my specs? if so ill just get them off xfire

i can play for about 15 - 20 the first time then 5 - 10 mins then it just changing when it stuffs up ive tryed puting it on a external harddrive and runing it but it still does the same thing

download coretemp and tell me what temps your CPU is getting to.
Download GPUz and tell me what you GPU temp is getting to while gaming.

That's not too hot, but is that while idling or while in-game?

I find HW monitor is good for recording how hot components get while in game.
