I'm just wondering what the most common ingame resolution and aspect ratio is, atm i use 1680x1050 and aspect on Auto, i got a 22 inch wide-screen monitor.

Ive heard many people use 1280x(number) , It might all be about personal preference but im not to sure.

well inno its best to have your native resolution of ur monitor so i suggest 1680x1050 with wide 16:10 aspect ratio coz they go together

1680x1050 @ 16:10 aspect.

Best is definetly native unless you have been playing for a long time on a certain resolution, inwhich case changing after *years* might hurt your game.
If you have played w/ 800x600 for 7-8 years, then change to 1680x1050, it might hurt your game due to the different feel.
