Computer Resolution problem

heres the story:

Woke up, turn on computer - somehow my resolution is changed to 1024x786 whatever and went to go change the resolution to my main resolution (1680x1050) 22 inch. it showed nothing on the lost, so i have to add a custom resolution to able to change it.

the thing is. i CAN'T USE MY RESOLUTION (1680x1050) IN GAME!

SOMEONE HELP plZ!

gfx card committed suicide?

reset ur monitor, new drivers, unplug monitor (try different input), restart, repair windows (doubt it), new card, new monitor
