I just got wow today for a bit of fun (break from xbox) Just wanting to know how do i know which realm is NZ/AUS servers. I was thinking as i am new just to go into a PvE. So what do you guys reckon which server to join and what should i go ally/hord

id say go a pvp server and just choose a oceanic server for aus/nz players

when in the game choose oceanic sever's then pick what you want, i know that most play on blackcock horde, but what side to choose that's up to you, what appels TO YOU.!

Blackrock horde has alot of aus players, but is a US server.

wont i just get ripped on on PvP. only WoW i have played was the old school on playstation 2 where you dig for gold and build an army lol.. and this is alot different. What are most CG players on Blackcock...

It really doesn't matter. the opposing faction cant attack you if they are on ur turf, just jump on an oceanic server with high population

Cheers guys. Loading up game now. Horde it is. But if i just wanted to learn the game first is PvE better that way i can do missions and stuff without getting attacked. And then at later stages create a new account and do PvP once i know how everything works. Not looking to get into this game seriously. Just something different from COD and Halo.

Well i know what it is all about, just wanted to try something different from xbox. I play xbox to get away from the stress of work and stuff, i like these kind of games to much around on and have fun but not getting Killed all the time from people who have been playing it for years. And i am a pretty fast learner.

Go a PvE realm to level your first toon, but you can make up to 10 characters per server with a cap of 50 characters in total. So you don't need to make new accounts, you can just make new characters. Blackrock is ok, it's PvP isn't as good as everyone says (I cant talk though I play on Thaurissan) however if you want PvP, roll horde OR alliance on Frostmourne. Without doubt the best server around for PvP in Oceanic.

frostmourne is more known for its end game raiding guilds.

do some research on battlegroups ect before making a decision. Blackrock is a oldschool server i would not advise you to roll on it unless you have freinds or family playing on there.

Anything under the oceanic list is worthwhile
