Alright guys, so we've just had the biggest match in Modern Warfare 2's short competitive history. CGi Grand Final? yeah right... It's Kill Army El... sorry... [R]evolution challenging The Abuse for the prestigious 1st place on the TDM ladder. I know, it sounds exciting even to read.

So to start it up we had a bit of pre-game entertainment with x EMU EXPORT x as the main show. He is The Abuse's resident 'Keyboard Warrior' (in this case microphone warrior) and we're proud to have him on board. Then with the closing of the entertainment the real action was about to take place.

The first map being Favela, naturally MP5ks and Marathon Pro were a must! Or so we thought... With a quick rush into middle buildings from defence spawn, we assumed we had them covered but all of a sudden we went a couple kills down. Persistance is a key feature in The Abuse's gamestyle and it paid off. We snagged the next few kills as [R]evolution diligently defended their scrap metal and playground and dared us to even touch their bananas with their zone defence. In the end The Abuse walked away with a solid 5 kill victory.

The second map was Afghan from the start, the game was not looking good for us... Raikou ripped us with the Famas in the middle plane and all of a sudden we were down by about 9-10 kills. This was pretty consistent throughout the rest of the round and [R]evoulution's strats paid off. They cleaned up to smash us by about 20 kills. Good round guys.

So after a super intense first 2 rounds, it all came down to this. Terminal. This is what it all came down to... the last ten minutes of the season. Probably the most important ten minutes of our lives. The Abuse spawned outside, [R]evolution inside. We were quick to establish positions and shut down any attack which was done flawlessly by Killa who picked up the 3 of our first 4 kills. [R]evolution frivolously pushed passed Burger Town and eventually broke through after going down about 10 kills but The Abuse pushed back and reclaimed pole position with The One And Only Butchurrr with a beautiful 360 one burst Famas final killcam to lead The Abuse to a 24 kill victory.

Great game [R]evolution, you guys played a great team tonight so well done.

Best of luck in the future and we'll see you again this week for our 4v4
it obviously won't be as important as No. 1 on the TDM ladder
