Yeah if Bart says he will run the distance and his pedigree seems to say he would be able to then I think he will get there. What would be interesting is a High Chaparral trifecta or first four; So You Think, Descarado, Shoot Out, Monaco Consul.
It'll be interesting to see if it actually does rain like it's forecast to over the next few days, as it'll shake up the field a fair bit. There will be a few horses around the $20-$30 mark that'll be fairly good value.
However if it does stay dry i'm definitely going to look at a trifecta combination. I don't think Shocking will get the job done, and the gate he's drawn hasn't done him any favors. Americain will probably be my third choice as he's won 3 group 1 races straight in France, as well as the Geelong Cup.
