So while looking around the call of duty forums to try and get some answers I came across this thread.

Basically JD updates it with whatever glitches or bugs they are fixing. As you'll notice, glitches have already been found AND patched. Within a day, a care package glitch was found, the following day it was fixed.
Also glitches like the rock on Fuel, which is still broken, have been fixed instantly.
The link also shows that they are working on upgrading the host system.
As I understand it now, there is no singular host in the lobbies. It changes throughout the entire match. Sometimes it changes to give the players who are still alive a better connection over those who have died. You will notice this if you play search and destroy and while you are alive you have 3-4 bar, but once you die, it may drop to 1-2 and the players who are still alive may now all be on 4.
While this does sound like a good plan on paper, it obviously hasn't worked out for them so far so heres hoping they just go back to the old hosting system.
It's the 12/11 and the game came out on the 9th, and they have already patched more than IW did in a few months. So don't count out Black Ops now.
The whole 'this game is shit' thing is starting to piss me off. If you don't like it go back to MW2 and shut the **** up.
That is all.
