The following information should help you play competitive matches as best we can until we get a proper competitive mod. Original concept from Motiv over at FPS admin.

Instructions:

1. Go to your COD:BO control panel on GameServers.com
2. Navigate to the config page (where you enter the rcon pw and hostname)
3. From the 'Choose file ' dropdown, select 'Server Banlist (ban.txt) ' and click on 'Update '
4. Paste the config at the bottom of this post into the text box on the 'Advanced View '
5. Once complete click on 'Save Settings '
6. When in game, login to the in-game rcon using '/rcon login yourpassword '
7. Execute the config by entering '/rcon exec ban.txt '
8. Using the in-game rcon or the remote rcon tool found on Steam set the gametype to the one you wish to play and restart the map.
9. Enjoy a more competitive friendly Black Ops match.

Tip 1: When you have a match, wait till everyone is ready then exec the ban.txt file again which will fast restart and give you 30 seconds to select class and get fighting.

Tip 2: You must have a unranked server to make use of this match config.
