Since a while ago, whenever i record a game in cod4 it seems to not save (doesnt show up in the mod folder it was recorded in). Also i am not able to change my config in any way unless i do it ingame. Whenever i change a config it doesnt do anything... as if i never changed it. Is there a certain thing my PC has turned on which is stopping this? ive looked through control panel and made sure "show every folder and document" is ticked and shit like that...

make sure config_mp.cfg isnt read only
delete console_mp file in players/robson/

With the demos, if they arent in the mods folder, try searching for .dm_1 files

I had the same prob, whenever i changed config it went back to safemode for no apparent reason. I think i changed config by using the active.txt or whatever it is instead of going ingame and changing it which might help. honestly cant remember how i fixed it but you can.

this is happens to me so i copy and paste the cfg in the default cfg and delete the stuff in there. dunno why but that works for me

Thanks Lantern got the config fixed... but with the demos when i search dm_1 it only comes up with the demos when it used to save properly... but since a certain date its just stopped saving them... in all mods.
