CG has a massive userbase so surely one of you owns a Parrot :p

Does anyone? I've always wanted one but never thought about actually adopting / purchasing one until recently.

Like 99% of people in the world, I'd love a Macaw or a Grey parrot, but both are extremely costly. I know that a lot of people buy them and love them for 5 or so years then slowly stop giving them attention as life goes on, but I'm after a life-long companion, rather then a cool pet to show people

Has anyone adopted a parrot ( of any species) in QLD? I've been looking for a quality aviary or adoption centre but there's few that I'm positive are reliable...

Oh sorry, I didn't realise people could only choose one thing to enjoy with life. Out of the thousands of users that browse these forums on a regular basis, It didn't even hit me that no one else here but me has interests other then spending their life shooting pixels on a screen.

Yeah well, I've found a number of places, but was hoping someone had personal experience, for now ( until I win my $20 mil on new years) I might hold on for a bit :p
