The first season of the SoundBlaster QuakeLive Champions League is nearly complete and we have some spectacular matches coming up!

DanDaKing, the South Australian, who recently represented australia at QuakeCon 2010 and finished in the top 8 in the world - will be taking on Zenaku, from Queensland, who has a large rivalry with Dan throughout his QuakeLive career. Will Zenaku's fast, calculated and confident playstyle beat Dan's amazing aim? We will see on Sunday.

For the second match we have Zealor (ZLR), another Queenslander who has possibly the smartest gamestyle in the Champions League proving that technical gameplay is just as important as aim- a must watch for anyone wanting to learn the ins and outs of QuakeLive. He will be taking on Haymo (NSW) who during the season beat ZLR in overtime on the third map. This should be a terrific game as well.

Please tune in! VODS should be up within a few days of the cast thanks to Pandan. Next week will be the grand final, we will not only cast the Division 1 grand final but we will also look into the Division 2 grand final to give an insight into the players who next season will be moved into Division 1!

I just want to note that Dandaking is representing ArchaicMSI, Zenaku represents SQL, Zlr represents Surefire gaming and I represent... myself!

But some big names in Aus gaming competing against each other here!
