Hey people,

With the busy time of year coming up over the next week, there will be a few changes made to both the ladder and tournament so people aren't bogged down with gaming.

Tournament

We are now heading into the final stages of the tournament, with only 8 teams remaining. MadCntz and {} have the round off, but can someone comment on whether Ant+Noob are continuing after [] folding? Also, this rounds matches have been given 2 weeks to be played due to the time of the year. Anywho this rounds matches are on Hard Rain, and are as follows

Top Bracket:
Yongdrix vs Horsebagz

Loser Bracket:
Frogdog vs B@P (Winner to play MadCntz)
Baller Bros vs fkngay (Winner to play {})

CGo Ladder

The ladder will be locked on Thursday 23rd December. As it currently is, CG has a built in function that prevents teams from offering Xmas and Boxing Day as times, so that shouldn't be a worry. Ladder is locked during this time so that teams don't have to worry about challenging people and such.

With ladder locks usually comes another thing - Finals. The chance of finals being on is quite high, unless teams have a reason not to. Saying it is too late notice or what not isn't really a valid excuse - this season has been going for about 4 months now, and if you have either a) dicked around with challenges, or b) recently joined the ladder, and are not close to making finals, there is only one person to blame.

The ladder would re-open on Sunday 2nd January, and hence, that is when finals would begin.

Other than that, hope you all have a happy and safe xmas-new years break

There is still one game to decide the outcome, but since there seems to be no objektions to it, they will run.

UPDATES!

The tournament has been updated. The games have been set up for a return to No Mercy. These two matches will need to be played by the 12th of Jan. The Horsebagz/Yongdrix game currently in dispute may take a bit longer to be played, but that is fine due to the top bracket being a round or so ahead.

Since there has been no word of anyone being unhappy with finals going ahead, I will set the matches up this afternoon/tonight and unlock the ladder for the rest of the teams. Further details will be put into a new thread.
