Easy Anti Cheat (EAC) is used for all CyberGamer CSS matches. This includes all Open, Amateur, Main and Invite matches.

EAC is different from most Anti-Cheats - you do not have to use any messy install wizard rather download a very small (< 3MB) client.

Powered By DoS, our resident EAC wizard has this to say:

EAC is an invasive program as it scans core game files and looks for game cheats.
Therefore some Anti-Virus programs often detect Easy Anti Cheat as a rootkit/Trojan malware file.

If flagged, first ensure you have downloaded EAC.exe directly from the EAC website, if the program still get flagged then you will have to suspend your Anti-Virus proactive scanning. You may also be able to lower the vigilant level on your Anti-Virus program if you don't wish to suspend your Anti-Virus proactive scanning. Please ensure you re-activate it after your match is complete.

Reminder you MUST run EAC for all CyberGamer CSS matches, failure to do so will result in ejection from matches. It is to the players responsibility to ensure that EAC is installed and running in ample time of match to be played. Contact an admin if you wish to test your EAC on a CyberGamer server.

Easy Anti Cheat Setup


NOTE: I am using Windows 7 64-Bit - please understand the subtle differences across your respected Operating System.


1. Navigate to the EAC download section, here.
CyberGamer recommends you bookmark this link as you may have to re-download it in the future.





2. Click the Teddy Bear and receive your browser's respective download pop-up.






3. Save the binary file to anywhere on your computer, we recommend My Documents or somewhere easy to remember.





4. Open the binary file using Run as Administrator .





5. Read the disclaimer and accept / deny the terms and conditions accordingly.



NOTE: You reserve the right of refusal with running / installing EAC but you will not be permitted to play any CyberGamer sanctioned matches.

CyberGamer recommends that you thoroughly read the disclaimer at least once.



6. See the client fully functioning and opened successfully. Select the Australia flag.






7. You will be offered all the server providers in Australia. Select CyberGamer.
Wait about 30 seconds and make sure there are no issues with your Anti-Virus.




8. Notice the Teddy Icon in your taskbar.




9. Open Counter-Strike: Source.

10. Connect to your match.

11. Wait approximately 30 seconds as EAC syncs your client with the server and to the EAC master server.

12. EAC will tag your IP and SteamID so that next time you open EAC your name and ID will appear as mine does in the pictures.

13. After your game, close EAC.

NOTES

1. There is no support for MAC OSX or Windows XP 64Bit.

2. Windows 7 and Vista users must have administrator privileges to run EAC.

3. Anti-Viruses may detect EAC as malware, this is a false positive.

4. EAC must be running for your entire CyberGamer sanctioned match - failure to do so will result in an automated server kick.

5. Steam community overlay (SHIFT+TAB) may or may not work while running EAC - this is different for each operating system and each computer.

6. Minimizing CSS while EAC is running can lead to your CSS crashing.

7. Pursuant to EAC's disclaimer, joining a VAC secured server while EAC is running will cause CSS to crash - however you can still use local (unsecured) servers.

8. EAC has in the past received DDoS attacks and due to the frequent Steam updates to CSS, EAC is sometimes dysfunctional - we will do our best to inform you of any match cancellations due to this.

9. If you have a strict Firewall, we recommend you free up ports 50300 and 50301.

10. Instead of letting EAC download its updates, CyberGamer recommends you simply download the client from the website.
