So yeah, just got the game and what I wanna know is when you guys go for licenses, do you always go for the gold trophies or just get through it quickly with bronzes and silvers?

I go for silver. I'd be there all day going for gold. I don't know what the licenses do.

I'm pretty sure they just unlock newer and harder events or something like that.

Never even tried licences, I'm mainly racing in a-spec/b-spec or doing the special events. (The intermediate ones in the NASCAR events usually bring in the cash).

How do you do NASCAR? Is this Nascar racing like 60 odd laps, like pit stops and the lot. I've been wanting to do this and been thinking i'd unlock it in the higher stages of a-spec.

It's in special events, pretty sure the second tab thingy. It's not 60 laps, it's like a challenge. The beginner ones are two challenges, based on drafting. The intermediate ones are four challenges, covering a certain distance without hitting any cones, in a certain amount of time. (Gold gives you something like 36,000 credits, silver gives 18,000 and bronze gives you 9,000). Silver and bronze are fairly easy, where as gold can be a challenge.

Also iTEMZ, don't laugh.. not everyone knows everything about the game, considering some of us got it for Christmas.

Yeh i've done that and it's booring. I'm pretty sure in the trailer you see a race with all cars in the pit lane stopping (Nascar). I'll try find it.

Main reason I do licenses is for the cars you get.

Go for all silvers, (All golds requires a lot of grinding and repeating finding the PERFECT line).

If you get all Silvers for a license class you win 2 cars, one for all silvers and one for all bronzes. The cars are worth a bit of money if you want to sell, or they save you money as some can be used in some of the A-Spec races, saving you from having to buy them.

I've finished International C atm haven't been on GT5 in a while, and i've gotten like 21 silvers, 9 golds. I haven't tried immensely to get Golds, but I can imagine getting all golds for the license events will not only give big XP payouts, but also some pretty sick cars.
