Hey Guys and Girls.

Im sure this question has been asked and or answered, but im to lazy to use search. I would like to know if a Starcraft 2 Ladder will be on cybergamer in the following months leading up to the Beta and its Release. I for one am drueling at the fact we will be able to try the game out if were lucky enough to be chosen. Also before i leave you with this repetitive question i would also like to know if you have plans for a 1v1, 2v2 and 4v4 Ladder?

There was a SC ladder, it was going to be there for the release of SC2. This has been delayed for some time now, and Aster and Snap decided to remove it for the time being.

I would assume though, that when a definate release date has been confirmed, a ladder will be setup.

Game mode is 1v1 and 2v2. Anything else is just stupid noob shit.
Hope there is a ladder, it's only going to be the next biggest rts ever released.
Game has been made 1.5 years ago, they are simply getting the best graphics they can for the game and balancing it.
Alpha mode was released to pro korean SC players at least 9-12 months ago.

Okay Thankz, hopefully they get the ladder up soo, i recon a 4v4 would be good it gives that Clan vs Clan Idea into it.

Im assuming you got ur key from Blizzcon or something because i havent heard anything about beta releases :S. And if so i HATE YOU I WANT STARCRAFT 2 qqq

This is wat i found after googling a Beta Release Date:

-Blizzard has a fixed date for the beta, however, it’s still a secret.
-The multiplayer part of the game is basically done, except for a few details.
-There will be several opportunities to participate in the beta to come (including competitions, perhaps a kind of story competition or similar).
-In the current build (internally at Blizzard), there is a Dark Pylon with a cool ability, which enables Probes to harvest faster within the reach of the Pylon.
-The Command Center can now use a new cool ability that creates a “bigger” SCV which is better at harvesting.
-Supply depots can be upgraded to give +2 Supply.
-Xordiah, who is a “Protoss Fetishist”, is Very Happy.
The Immortal is a new unit replacing the dragoons and are extremely strong.

not everyone gets the SC2 beta key if they have a registered blizzard key. Only a select few.

It would be terrible on a console no matter what kind. Does it help ur chances if you have all Blizzard Products?

I doubt that because if anything it is an automated system that randomly registers users for the beta if they have at least 1 registered blizzard product.

EDIT: Also a 4v4 has no place in any RTS. (And no DotA is not an RTS..)
It's a stupid idea to do 4v4's if you understood the mechanics of starcraft, or any RTS in fact.
2 people on a team could send half their workers to worker rush and eliminate an oponent within the first minute, return and continue mining. Suddenly it becomes a 3v4 with 2 people at a slight mining disadvantage.
Really, the game would turn to absolute shit if it were a 4v4.
3v3 is certainly do-able but 2v2 and 1v1s are by far the most competitive and recognized competitive modes out there.
