I am sure a lot of you's have noticed lately the poor state of these forums.

They have become painful to read and a disgrace to CG. This is a growing community but the amount of abuse and idiotic posts has gotten out of hand. CG is constantly looking for members and the state of these forums are turning people away.

It's time to grow up.

Moderators will now be banning people more often, burying more posts and locking and removing any thread that gets derailed.

Any abuse towards a moderator that has buried, locked, removed or handed out a ban to you will be returned with a 1 week ban. First offense. If you continue on then harsher penalties will be handed out.

If you have a problem with the moderating then please send a NICE pm to the moderator involved. There will be no tolerance with abuse.

If you are not satisfied with the reasoning behind the moderator then make a support ticket. Only do so if you honestly believe they are in the wrong and it is serious.

Also, use the flag system. It makes things a lot easier for moderators. Often threads are missed because they are not flagged.

Won't change the attitude of the posters? prob not. But the moderating will be better.

This has happened before and we had a huge improvement in the forums back then. More members now but more moderators aswell.

As Jeff Buckley and Leonard Cohen said "Hallelujah", a bit of leaving threads lately and it's people that drive 'em away, I mean not just one but a bunch of 'em. The way I see flame is that once one person starts they all follow like sheep.
